Biographical Information

Attorney Paulding is a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Connecticut School of Law.   After entering the legal profession in the early '80's, T.R. acted as Counsel for the Legislative Caucus in Hartford and established a private practice.  Soon thereafter, his primary interest became clear.  After two years as a Public Defender, he changed hats and spent nearly 7 years as a State Prosecutor, working as the Supervisory Assistant State's Attorney for G.A. 13 in Enfield for much of that time.  Following those years and until the present day, Mr. Paulding has developed a practice that is primarily devoted to the defense of those who have been accused of criminal and motor vehicle offenses.  An area of particular knowledge and expertise is the defense of those who have been charged with Operating Under the Influence.  From 2006 to 2012, Attorney Paulding acted as a Hearing Officer for the DMV's Administrative Per Se Unit, ruling on  O.U.I. and other licensing issues.  His litigation experience includes numerous trials to juries and judges in both the State and Federal court systems.  Ranging from the minor motor vehicle infraction to serious charges such as Sexual Assault, Drug offenses, Murder and Capital Felony, Mr. Paulding has a lengthy resume of fighting for others.
